About The First Alpha Series

The First Alpha Series is a collection of dark fantasy books aimed at older readers. The series is a prequel to The Hybrid series, and can be read before or after those books. The story follows Daniel Forrester, an ordinary boy who is given an extraordinary gift, living in a future world where civilisation has partially collapsed.

The Beginning

Book 1 - The First Alpha Series

It all started with one boy. Orphaned. Adopted. Alone. Hiding a secret ... The First Alpha.

The collapse has begun. Humans, forced to live in limited space, have segregated themselves … the Core and the districts. The Core have plenty; the districts barely survive.

Daniel, a district resident, finds himself orphaned, and is lucky enough to be adopted by Core parents. But he doesn’t feel lucky. With his family gone, he’s alone in a world that doesn’t make sense. And he’s changing ...

Can Daniel hide the biggest secret of all, in a world of prejudice and fear?

Abandoned. Isolated. Undercover. Daniel struggles on his return to the Core.

As Daniel learns more about his abilities and grows in strength, he looks to use his powers for good. Does that mean staying loyal to the districts? Does that mean avenging the deaths of his loved ones? Is it OK to use his powers to defend himself?

And as he grows more powerful, will he be able to keep his secret, or will others work out what he can do, and look to exploit him?

Find out, in book two in The First Alpha series.

New Dawn

Book 3 - The First Alpha Series

The secret’s out. Nowhere is safe. There’s another war brewing and Daniel is on the run.

Daniel is isolated. Returning to the districts means creating a generation of alphas who are unlikely to create the utopia he’s destined to build. A return to the Core offers much more brutal consequences. But with both the Core and the districts searching for him, can he really hide away and avoid the conflict?

As the Agency learn the extent of Daniel’s activities, how will they react? Will they embrace the new generation of humans, or will they look to destroy or control them? And how far are they prepared to go to capture Daniel?

With death and destruction around him, will Daniel be able to keep to the Light, or will those dangerous warnings from the paintings become a reality?

Find out, in the thrilling conclusion of the initial First Alpha trilogy, New Dawn.
